Van T. Nguyen, DDS
Dr. Van Nguyen has been providing Family, Cosmetic, and Orthodontic Dentistry in the DFW area for over twenty years. Combining the latest in dental technology and techniques, Dr. Nguyen treats all her patients with the highest level of service, professionalism, and individual care.
Dr. Van Nguyen received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry Texas A& M University System in 2003. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy of GP Orthodontics, Dallas Asian Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Nguyen continues for her passion in learning dentistry by taking continuing education courses annually. She is fluent in Vietnamese and is learning Spanish to better accommodate her patients.
Away from the practice, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with her husband and her three young daughters. She enjoys gardening, jogging, and staying active with her local community.
Dr. diana dao
Dr. Dao is a native Texan and grew up in Houston. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated in 2013 with a doctorate in dental surgery.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs, gardening, cooking, sewing, and practicing Pilates and yoga.
Dr. Alon Shalev
Dr. Alon Shalev is a periodontist surgeon and is committed to quality patient care, always keeping the patient’s best interest. Dr. Shalev earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2005. In 2010, Dr. Shalev earned his Master of Health Management from the Ben-Gurion University and then went on to earn his periodontics certificate specialty training at the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota in 2019 along which he earned a Master of Science in Dentistry. Later, Dr. Shalev had his Oral Surgery fellowship in a hospital setting focusing in wisdom teeth removal and oral pathology. Dr. Shalev found his passion for dentistry by watching his dad who is also a dentist. He ran multiple offices mainly focusing on esthetic and implant dentistry, as well as he was Head of Dental Affairs in a hospital in Israel treating very complex cases. Dr. Shalev loves that dentistry is a combination of science and art that brings the passion of both worlds. Dr. Shalev is mainly interested in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and micro-surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and published multiple papers in major manuscripts in his field.
In his free time, Dr. Shalev enjoys traveling with his family, wife and two kids and exploring new places, sports and fine cuisine. He also enjoys volunteering by providing dental care to veterans suffering from PTSD. Dr. Shalev lectures and teaches continuing education courses.

Dr. David Roberts
Dr. Roberts practice is focused almost exclusively to extracting wisdom teeth and placing dental implants both safely and comfortably utilizing IV (moderate) sedation. He has treated over 30,000 patients in this fashion over the course of his career.
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1985. He then spent two years in a dental residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr Roberts and his wife Kristal stay pretty busy with their 4 children, 6 dogs and 2 horses. They both are life long avid tennis players who truely enjoy enriching the lives of their family ,friends and community .
Dr. Alan Wong
Dr. Alan Wong is our root canal and wisdom teeth surgery provider here at Story Dental.
Dr. Wong is a general dentist with extensive training and experience in treating complex root canal cases and removing wisdom teeth. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, and completed post-graduate training in general dentistry at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Root canal treatment involves cleaning out the nerve of an inflamed or infected tooth to relieve pain and prevent further issues. Dr. Wong employs modern techniques to provide comfortable care for patients experiencing toothaches and infections. He has taken numerous continuing education courses in endodontics and dental surgery over the years, ensuring he remains well-informed about the latest advancements and enabling him to deliver highly effective treatment to our patients.
Veronica
Office Manager
Veronica is our office manager and is always going the extra mile for our patients' satisfaction. She has been in dentistry for 30 years and is passionate in helping patients get their confidence back. In her free time she loves to travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with her two children.
Keilly
Dental Assistant
Keilly is a kind and compassionate person who truly enjoys helping others. She found her true mission of extending her commitment in helping others through dentistry. She welcomes any challenges that come her way because she believes that it will make her a better person. She is continuing her educational endeavors while assisting patients to achieve their beautiful smile. Each day, she eagerly looks forward to getting know her patients and work with her dental team.
Outside of the dental office, she finds happiness when spending time with her son and her dog named, Choco.

Jeidi joined our team almost two years ago now! Since then, Jeidi couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere and people here at Story Dental! She has enjoyed serving our patients and working with knowledgeable doctors that genuinely care for their patients and having colleagues that constantly strive to make each experience first-class.
When she isn’t busy caring for teeth, she likes soaking up every moment she can with her loved ones, especially her son, Gino and enjoying her free time whenever she can.
Zitlally "Cici"
Front Desk
Zitlally is a helpful and welcoming face to all of our patients. She goes by the name of "Cici". She has been the front desk for 3 years and going. She is always eager to help patients with their questions and concerns. After work she enjoys spending time with her sister and reading.
